Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji
Saint-Scholar-Warrior, Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji was charged in 1914 with waging war against the British Crown and had to undergo life-imprisonment from 1914 to 1931. During which, he never gave up his dedication to uphold his faith and Sikhi principles.
Bhai Anokh Singh Babbar. Martyred on 30th August 1987 by the Punjab Police. He was horrifically tortured by having his eyes ripped out, iron skewers ripped through his body, and his bones crushed, yet he never gave up his faith and repeated Vaheguru's name till his last breath.

At the age of 10 Maharaj Duleep Singh surrendering Punjab to the British after treachery and deceit made Sikh armies lose to the British
Mahants (Managers) from the Udasi and Nirmala religious communities that cared for Sikh shrines during the anti-Sikh genocidal campaigns and holocausts of the 18th century, were bribed and employed by the British to keep Sikhs away from power of Sikh shrines and therefore, unable to use Gurdwaras as a platform to rebel or raise their voice for freedom.
After the annexation of the Sikh Kingdom, the British planned to control and subdue Sikhs by controlling Gurdwaras. Doing so would control the finances and platform to speak that supported Sikhs to voice freedom.
1920 - Gurdwara Ber Sahib (also known as Gurdwara Babe Di Ber). A Sikh woman villager discovered Gandha Singh, the Patit Manager, drinking alcohol and eating meat. She then reported to the Khalsa, which led to the Khalsa Sevak Jatha rallying to free the Gurdwara from the corrupt Mahants.
5 October 1920 - The moment Bhai Teja Singh Buchar and Teja Singh Jhabbar entered with a group of Akali Sikhs into the courtroom that had 21 Sikhs on trial for taking over Gurdwara Ber Sahib Sialkot from the corrupt Mahant. Their loud Jaikare made the judge scared and pass that all the Sikhs were free and that the Gurdwara will be handed back over to the Sikhs.
When the Khalsa Sevak Jatha took over Sialkot's Gurdwara Ber Sahib and ousted out the corrupt alcohol-drinking Mahant in September 1920. This led to the Mahant reporting the Sikhs to the police and getting them arrested.
On 12th October 1920, the British payroll Pujari priests of Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, refused to take the Karah Parshaad offerings of Khalsa College Students who were newly initiated Sikhs that were previously Dalit Hindus. Due to the discrimination and anti-Sikh behaviour of the British payroll Pujaris, Sikhs rallied at the holy shrine and once and for all rid the holy precents of these people and took over the management.
24 January 1921 - Wife of Sikh preacher Bhai Sant Singh, from Tarn Taran Sahib, came to Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to complain to the Akali Sikh leaders that the Mahant of Gurdwara Tarn Taran Sahib had murdered her 10 year old and after abusing her 13 year-old daughter, she also died.

The corrupt Mahant Narain Das was the manager of Sri Nankana from 1917 to 1921. He was linked to the anti-Sikh British colonial rulers of Punjab and misused Gurdwara funds to live a lavish and immoral lifestyle, committing many crimes, including rape and murder that led to the Sikh uprising, leading to the Sri Nankana Sahib bloody massacre and subsequent freeing of Gurdwara Nankana Sahib from the Mahant.
On Vaisakhi 1919, after committing genocidal crime against Punjabis, majority Sikhs, in Jallianwala Bagh, the British pay-roll Manager (Sarbrah) of Akal Takhat Sahib, Arur Singh, honoured General Dyer with a Siropa.
